Who Am I?
I'm Karl Bimshas, the founder of Karl Bimshas Consulting, the leadership development and accountability firm that helps busy professionals become confident, competent leaders in their field without becoming jerks.
"Wake Up a Leader" represents Karl Bimshas, the individual, in contrast to my LinkedIn Newsletter and Podcast, "Reflections on Leadership," which represents Karl Bimshas Consulting, the leadership development and accountability firm.
You can expect this space to include my unvarnished thoughts on leadership, general politics, my creative endeavors, some wit, typos, and, yes, the occasional grammatical slip-up.
My Goals
The goals behind "Wake Up a Leader" are to
Equip readers with the right mental attitude and skills to wake up with a leader's mindset.
Reach established leaders who are bored, disheartened, or demotivated and snap them out of their complacent habits or attitudes by helping them to challenge their perspective, gather inspiration, and find insights to help them manage better and lead well.
Share my candid thoughts on leadership, occasionally general politics, and varied creative endeavors.

Wake Up a Leader is new, so be patient as I roll things out. I'll start with some foundational posts for you to get to know me, and then I will adjust my frequency and content based on subscriber's preferences. Here's what you can anticipate when you subscribe to Wake Up a Leader:
