Day 22: Conduct a Leadership Inventory
Take stock of your leadership style. How have you grown in the past year? What areas still need improvement?
Why It’s Important:
A leadership inventory helps you assess your growth, recognize your achievements, and identify areas for further development. Reflecting on your leadership journey allows you to celebrate progress, build on strengths, and strategically address gaps. This self-awareness is key to becoming a more effective, adaptable, and confident leader.
How to Complete the Action:
Set Aside Quiet Time: Dedicate 20-30 minutes for uninterrupted reflection.
Review Your Leadership Journey: Reflect on how you’ve grown over the past year. Consider areas like decision-making, communication, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence.
Use a Framework: To organize your thoughts, consider using a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats).
Strengths: What leadership qualities have you improved?
Weaknesses: Where do you still see room for growth?
Opportunities: What opportunities can you leverage to continue your development?
Threats: What challenges might hinder your progress?
Set Improvement Goals: Identify 1-2 areas to focus on for the next quarter and outline specific actions to enhance your leadership style.
Document Your Findings: Write down your reflections and revisit them periodically to track your progress.
